On September 16th 8 members went to Snow Shoe, Pa. to ride the Rails to Trails system and The Bloody Skillet trails that connect to SSRT.

Around a dozen members headed to Redbank Valley Municipal Park for the annual poker run. The trails this year were extremely muddy and challenging due to the several inches of rain that fell the night before.

14 members and guests made the trip to Royal Blue in Pioneer, Tennessee on July 22nd. 6 days and 240+ miles later we still had not ridden everything to ride. Trails range from easy gravel roads to challenging hills and rock crawl areas. Royal Blue is definitely worth a return visit.

9 club members made the 200 mile trip to Mountain Ridge ATV Resort in Central City, Pa. on July 1st. Mountain Ridge has a little bit of everything on their trails. Hills, rocks, mud and more rock! Over two days of riding more then 60 miles was logged with some of the more enjoyable trails ridden twice. 4 members made the trip to nearby Shanksville Saturday morning to visit the flight 93 chapel and memorial.

For our February meeting SEATVRiders met at The Power Sports Institute in North Randall for a tour of the facility. PSI is a state of the art school for preparing students to work in the motorcycle/ORV repair field.

There were four of us that were camping and two that were staying at the hotel at Forest Lodge Campground. There were other five other members staying at Forest Ridge campgrounds but we caught up with them on Saturday.
The weather on Saturday was dry for a change usually the past couple of time it has rained, but the rain did not stay away long as it did rain on Sunday.

Over 30 members and guests attended the annual SEATV Clam Bake. This year the bake was held at Jim Piskac's place down at Wayne National. The bake was planned and put on by Jim and Bob Jakubiec. The two did an awesome job and pulled off probably the finest bake ever for the club.

Maryanne & Harry Edwards put this ride together at the 401 trailhead. They were joined by the Makosky’s , and the Nevery’s. Bill Snyder & Susie stayed at The Forest Lodge.

Between Friday night and Saturday we rode the entire outer perimeter of the timberline trails down to Buhler’s corners and back. Unfortunately it started to rain on our way back to the 401 on Saturday, and the rain lasted until early Sunday morning. Although the rain put a damper on a fire Saturday night we still gathered around the Makosky’s trailer under the awning for some good conversation and laughs.

The SEATVClub 12th anniversary party was held at State 8 in Medina this year. There was a big turnout from club members who each brought a dish to share. Thanks to everyone who made this years party a huge success.

14 members and 3 guests made the trip to Frederic, Michigan over the 4th of July holiday. SEATV members were invited to a cookout and fireworks in Grayling hosted by The Happi Trails ATV Club. 3 days of riding logged over 150 miles on some very tight, twisty trails as well as wide open sandy routes. The club dinner on the 4th was a chicken bbq with several sides and deserts.

The 2010 road trip to Jackman, Maine was a huge success. 30 riders on 28 quads stayed at Cedar Ridge Outfitters and rode over 300 miles in 3 1/2 days. The trails ranged from smooth logging roads to technical slow moving rocky trails through the forest. The ride was capped off with an excellent farewell dinner at Bigwoods Steak House in town.

We had 7 seven members arrive Friday night at Forest Lodge motel & campground the weather Friday night was prefect and we thought maybe we dodge the rain?? We left Forest Lodge Saturday morning and were about 10 miles into our ride heading for Marienville, when mother nature decided to entertain us with her liquid sunshine, and then it rain on and off the rest of the ride. By the time we got back to camp we completed 67 miles. We all had a great time despite the rain, as you can see in one the pictures I learned a lesson from last year, this year I packed a tarp to escape the elements for lunch and it worked well!! Saturday evening after we dried out we gathered at Harry & Maryanne's trailer for dinner, and of course the rain stopped so Mario and myself took on the task of building a nice campfire.
Sunday morning the sun was shining go figure!! but we all had things do and had only registered for one day of riding and all headed back home in the early afternoon.

8 club members attended the first work weekend of the year at WNF. Those who attended split into two groups. On group opened up the New Straitsville loop while the other went and cleared about 3/4 of the Dorr Run blue loop. Some very tired members were rewarded with s steak dinner later that evening at Bubba's Shack.

Hosted by Gerard and Vickie Lowiec 20 members rode the ANF for the weekend including the bike trail. A few even went out for a quick night ride.

12 members attended the annual Red Bank Poker Run. The loop was 31 miles this year and riders enjoyed hotdogs and hamburgers on the trail.

On August 7th 12 members headed up to Rock Run Recreation Area in Patton, Pa for a long weekend of riding. The trails at Rock Run range from easy gravel logging roads to very technical slow rock fields as well as some challenging hill climbs.

Pictures from Marienville ride held on July 18 & 19 despite a few showers on Saturday, we had sixteen club members and three guests attend this weekends ride which was hosted by the Edwards. Base camp was set up at the Forest Lodge campground where rode from to the Timberline Trails located in the Alleghany National Forest.
We had five members staying in the Lodge, and six of us dry camped and the rest came up for the day. We rode to Buehlers Corners and back to Forest Lodge where we had a Chicken dinner grilled over the fire and everyone brought a dish to pass. Following dinner we had camp fire, and good times visiting and chatting around the fire. Thanks to Frank & Sue for their hospitality! All in all we rode around 75 miles. No mishaps and everyone returned safe.

5 members rode the Daniel Boone and Red Bird Trails in Hyden, Kentucky. The Goldhamers and Chueys rode over 165 miles in 3+ days of riding. Trails ranged from easy to extreme black diamond rating. These trails also turned out to be a great place to view the local wildlife, especially Elk.

There were 10 club members that turned out on Saturday March 21 for the 1st work weekend at the Wayne National Forest Trails. Trees were cleared and trails were opened up on the Main Corridor from Camp Ohio connector trail to Monday Creek and then to New Straitsville and the New Straitsville loop.

Over 60 members attended this years clam bake held at Mines and Meadows in Pa. As usual the food was great and the riding awesome. Thanks again to Grant for doing all the work to host this event.

Here are just few pictures from our Utah trip. There were six of us that made trek from Cleveland to Utah to ride the Piaute trail, and then over to Moab for a few days. After Mario & Janice and Eugene & Kathy headed back for Ohio, Maryanne and I headed for Southwest Colorado and spent 3 days riding a portion of the Alpine loop and getting caught up in the mountains in the snow !

Thanks to Renzo and Tish our party this year was a huge success. This year we collected for Toys for Tots and The Geauga County Humane Society Rescue Village. Both collections were a huge success thanks to our club members generosity.

Bruce Webber and his wife Kathy rode the Saturday ride at the October TDF. The weather was perfect as they rode 100 miles that day.

Clambake at Dales was the biggest we have had, there were 87 bakes ordered. The weather was perfect there were over a dozen that camped out on both Friday and Saturday and a with a huge bonfire on Saturday night for those that did not camp out Saturday night came back on Sunday to ride.

A large contingent of SEATVRiders attended this years Red Bank Poker Run in New Bethlehem, Pa. The run is a major fund raiser for the local Fire Department.

The 2nd annual girls ride was August 17th - 19th in The Allegheny National Forest. Once again the girls stayed at the Forest Lodge. Friday a small group ride the Rocky Gap trails and on Saturday the entire group rode The Timberline Trails.

12 members went on the first ever SEATVRiders sponsored road trip to Hurley, Wisconsin. Riders covered over 200 miles in 3 days which also included 3 states (Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota). Some of the highlights of the 3 day ride included visits to scenic waterfalls, lake Superior and a lunch stop at Little Martha Lake.

SEATVRiders took delivery of our new 41' trailer in late July. The trailer, built by Kaufman Trailer in North Carolina was custom built to our specefications and should give us many years of service.

Over 40 club members turned out to help Charlie celebrate his 50th birthday at Four Seasons camping resort. In Charlies honor Four Seasons held ATV mud drags to celebrate his birthday.
Lance Rovito was the big winner as he took 1st place in his class!
Keep an eye on Fishers ATV world. The show was at Four Seasons over the weekend shooting video which included a spot on the club.

Over 30, maybe closer to 50 members stayed at Four Seasons Resort over the July 4th holiday. Some members arrived as early as Sunday, July 1st while most arrived Tuesday, July 3rd and stayed until Sunday, july 8th.

Hosted by the Rovito family,a club dinner was held Saturday evening. Each night during the week a different family hosted a after dinner camp fire.

Several members that had attended the first Michigan ride returned for a second go around in September. The Geels and Meadow trails were ridden with stops in the ATV friendly towns of Luzerne and Roscommon for gas and food.
